Messenger confirms ice and organic compounds at permanently shaded polar regions of Mercury, maybe future insights about cometary input to other inner planets.

I remember reading somewhere years ago that a hypothesis that was growing in popularity was that "organics" and ice "rain" onto the forming planets during the clearing out of the accretion disk phase. Also, if i remember correctly, Bork Globules/birth clouds seem to include forming pre-organics...
