I'm blown away!!
These are incredible pictures- they can't be "sketches"; in fact they look like paintings, very good ones!

They also tell of a very trained eye in the observer/artist!

Pete,

Excellent sketches! My favorite is the GRS region sketch. Beautiful colors with subtle shading. Lots of details, GRS, Oval BA, the dark spot, a Moon transiting with the shadow, festoons in the EQZ. I like the detail you got around the GRS, especially right "below" it. What medium did you use on the color? I done some experimenting with color, but not satisfied with my results.
