Storms make interesting but fleeting observation opportunities. This was one for me as a friend and I watched a meeting of Jupiter and the Moon. The sketch and record of the event for us is on the blog site listed below my signature.

Terrific representation of clouds at night, Roland! That is not an easy view to replicate on paper, but one worth sketching, without a doubt. Lovely.

Thanks sketchers. Disruptive weather can produce some amazing views. It reminds me of a bad stock market when the wise investors look to buy. When observers head to the barn, I start looking for opportunities to catch something different.
