Backyard Astronomy: Better tools at lower prices bring observatories home

While I don't have an observatory, I think it's always nice to see astronomy-related articles on a widely-circulated newspaper.

This is a good article. I still haven't spent 20K so I guess I have some room to grow.

I think that price tag includes all the equipment.

You can get away with it for much less than 20k :D Good article though!

I hope my wife never reads this article. If she would, she would think I also spent $20K on my observatory :roflmao:
I keep telling her: 1,000 for the "shed", 2,000 for scopes and stuff :lol:

Well.. some of us can :) I imagine if you're trying to make it completely 'remote', you could spend that much. But if your arms are tired and you want it to close automatically... :D
