Hi all,

I just setup my equiment since it looked rather nice
to me, no clouds for the moment and dry.
However when all was up and running finally ( some SW
quirks here and there ) clouds began to show up in the
field of view, too bad.
I only got 1 avi out of the session, shot with the 6"
mak with a TVx2 barlow at 60fps.
Processed with AS!2, Registax and Specklm, afterwards
the images were combined.
A pitty the clouds didn't let me capture more since the
seeing was rather good this time!
Thanks for looking.

Good to see you back with at least some clear skies!

Mert, what does Specklm give you that the other programs you use don't provide?

Yes, good to see you imaging again Mert! :waytogo:

This one is also worthy of being posted in Brian's "small bore challenge" as you did it with a 6" scope! :applause:

Hi Freddy, been out of imaging for a while as you have
noticed.
But I'm still wanting to grab that fantastic image never
grabbed before  only I have to take care when temps
drop like over here right now.
Tonight it reached aprox. -2ÂșC, not too cold but for me
too much, anyway I got clouded out.
I tried to drizzle but without too many frames to be used
you can't get much.
Here a screencopy of AS, just look at that drop in quality,
clouds
Regards!

Hi Glenn, thanks for your warm words!

I'm using Specklm since it gives me some nice control on
sharpening things.
I nearly always use Registax to create a waveletted version,
of the same stack used in Specklm, then combine the 2.
Lately I was trying some older AVIs that had a lot of
strange fringes in there.
I got rid of these using an option Photon Bias in Specklm.
Never used that before.
There are still a lot of tools inside Specklm I have
to investigate, seems like a powerful tool to me.

Hi Darryl, I've been reading about your trip to the north
to get a better angle on Jupiter and test the ASI cameras.
What an incredible images you are pumping out, excellent
stuff!
I did miss the "small bore challenge" for completely!! :foreheadslap:

Thanks Trevor and Frank,

The clouds are always there waiting for someone to get
out with a telescope, what can we do :tonofbricks:

Hi Mert,
Good to see you back. I'm trying to google Specklm, but it's not coming up with anything. Do you have a link?

Hope you get some clear skies soon.

Hi Jeff,

For a little writeup I did go to my "webpage" on the
download section.
Don't know if the download-link for the program still
works, if not let me know!
