Very nice Tony. The one shot color makes for great animations over the mono cameras... Well at least simpler animations.

Very nice collection, Tony. Animation is a nice bonus.

I have to agree, Ed. Mono is very time-consuming.

Tony,
I'd encourage you to experiment with processing. You might give AS!2 a try for stacking, then sharpen in R6. With that seeing and your setup (I have almost exactly the same gear) I believe you may be able to get more out of your data.

I'm also wondering what difference the lack of a UV/IR cut filter may be having in your results. It's a relatively cheap item, and may be worth trying.

Jeff,
Thanks for your advice. I tried the AS!2, AS!2 is very good planet stack software, it brings better stack result than R6 on fair seeing. I have orion 2" filter wheel with LRGB filters set. I compared the DBK618 + w/wo L fitler when shooting Jupiter.
a) C11HD + TV3x + DBK618 + L @ 30fps, gain:900,blance:auto
b) C11HD + TV3x + DBK618 @ 30fps, gain:700,blance:auto
c) C11HD + TV3x + DBK618 +L @ 38fps, gain:1000,blance:auto
d) C11HD + TV3x + DBK618 @ 38fps, gain:750,blance:auto
e) C11HD + TV3x + DBK618 @ 45fps, gain:850,blance:auto
Result: d>b>e>a>c. I notice if gain large than 900, the noise becomes non-ignorable. To keep gain lower than 900, I have to TV2x instead of TV3x sometime. I also have DMK618 and DFK618 on hand, the DBK618 is my favorite to shoot animation of transit event.

Thanks,
Tony

That's is such lovely work! I really enjoy watching the smoothness of the animation!
