I have a CPC 9.25 wedge mount. Am curious that when others try auto align how close to the star you select does scope slew to? I have to take it down & set up each use, but is in my driveway. It's just mine it dead on on GPS location but is sometimes way off on slewing to align star, Kasey

AFTER YOU FINISH aligning the scope Then and only then does the scope know where it is and has an accurate "map" of the sky in its memory...

Initial slews to the alignment stars are NOT accurate the scope is only guessing where the star is located...

Thank you Bob, I was thinking sense it has time, date & GPS location by this stage of alignment and that sense is able to slew to area of sky where selected star is, just wondered if was a flaw or something that was not able to get closer is all. Some of the stars it come up with for auto align are Greek to me
