Thanks for sharing Andre, nothing but clouds and rain here today! With the colors and detail you use it's just like looking through my scope!

Warren.

Thanks to you. About color of my sketches. You remember not long ago we all discussed about adding more red on my surface, so I tried different colors to finally stay at the same as is. This morning while sketching, I remarked very clearly that the surface in my scope is very very close to my sketches color. The sun is not red at all but much more yellowish. In my smaller 80mm solar scope, the surface is more reddish but not in the LS152. So my sketches reflect a real aspect to what I get.

Andre, wow...just...wow! Such impressive detail, especially in that full disk. I am really happy to see you add that to your normal routine. And how impressive is that cluster of spots in the second image, eh!?! Beautiful.

Thank you so much Jason. I will do a full disk in three specific occasions. First and the most important, when not rushed by the clouds. Second, when the seeing isn't good enough for high magnification. Third, while waiting the sun get out of a tree (without leafs during winter) where I can't magnify because the reduced sharpness of the image but still clear at low magnification.

Andre,

You do more frequent sketches of the sun than I have opportunities to even see the sun.
Great sketching.

Frank :)

Thanks Tom.

Saddely, no sun for a couple more days in a row. Very annoying weather believe me.

Andre, you are an avid observer. I tip my hat to your love of observing, the quality of your work, and your focus and persistence. You have been putting up a stream of observations that speak to all of that.

Norme.

Oh well, thank you so much for these gratifying words. You are too generous. That goes straight to my heart. Thanks.

Andre,
Impressive series! Interesting feature on the full disk sketch and second sketch (the sun spot clusters).
