Does anyone here know where Hind's Crimson Star (R Leporis) is in its brightness cycle? I checked the AAVSO site, but there was no info (surprisingly).

I looks like it should be around 8th or 9th magnitude according to the AAVSO lightcurve generator although estimates vary a lot for these very red stars.

I believe it was at minimum in November 2012, and will be at max in late June.

R Lep may have reached maximum in November but with a period of 445 days minimum (mag 11.5) won't be reachad until later in 2013.
