Really?! So you're going to torture me with your pristine Dynascope! They didn't look that good when they were new!
Happy New Year Gerald,

I wish you'd do that at PATS out here as well! I'll bring one or two of mine, if you do!

I'll consider that. However, in all previous pats years, I've had work commitments around that time. I'll try to verify well in advance this year.

Tim,

Maybe if Dan S., The Caveman and some of the other left coast crowd helped?!?!

Just a thought.

I thought last year was awesome.

I'm ready to do it again and have a few different classics I could bring this year.

I would consider it now that I'm retired. Never could get away at that time before, tho I've read about it for years in S&T. Sounds like fun? There's a classics section there?

Thank you Preston, I am going to seriously consider it. That would be a nice time to take a little trip. I think it would be a lot of fun.

I'm intending on making it this year. Every year I say I'm going and then work gets in the way. This year I've got it on the calendar at work. I grew up 10 miles away and I'm going to do a little visit with the parents at the same time. I could bring one of my Criterions along if they were needed.

I may be out to visit my daughter in Ridgewood NJ that week. If so I would be at NEAF at least one day and I could bring a late 50's Towa refractor. Sorry, my 3 Caves wouldn't fit in a carry-on case.

Sometimes my scopes take over the living room until my wife finally tells me to put my stuff away. The Towa is on the far right.

With much regret I won't be going to NEAF later this month. My daughter has talked me into taking her to the Bob Dylan concert that weekend and we got tickets in the 4th row back from the stage. Just about the same position where we saw Joan Baez a few years back. We won't have people like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Neil Young forever so we have to take advantage of the opportunity to see them when it comes up. I am sure we here in the Classics group can appreciate that. So I will be seeing another Classic this year instead.

I do not have that problem with my wife. I divorced her 12 years ago for that very same reason :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
