Hi.

Yesterday I had a clear sky in the afternoon but that was very turbulent. No time to treat the sketches so here they are today.

The 4th sketch is my 200th one !

Andre.

Beautiful sketches Andre,
Your sketches have got me toying with the the idea of getting a small scope and equipment to do solar observing.

Jim

Well, great news. I'm glad to hear that. You will appreciate for sure. But hurry before the get to quiet as 2013 is the last year of high activity.

Look back at my introduction, I added something you didn't read.

Thanks Tom. What impress me on this full disc sketch are the white regions. I think its one of my best full disc representation to date. The irregular shapes of the white regions looks so real. I like it very much.

Man, you have been busy, Andre. 200 sketches...fantastic! That full disk sketch shows how much activity is going on with Sol these days...quite impressive. Excellent as always.

Thanks Jason.

Yes, really busy despite the numerous cloudy periods. Not so bad in only 4 months. I'm eager to see how much sketches I'll produce in a full year !!! I hope you will not get bored to see so much sketches.

Today january 1st, I feel really mad as its a beautiful sunny day and I'm stuck at work on day shift. Same for tomorrow.

Andre.

Hi André,
Very beautiful sketches of the sun, well detailed and in color! Very similar to what we see in the eyepiece.

I was observing the Sun that day with good conditions at 70X-80X with my Lunt 60. You nailed it! David
