Are Gemini I / II Servo motors compatable with one another? Will the Gemini II servos work with Gemini I? And, lastly, does Losmandy sell servos & gearboxes yet (they don't seem to be on their website anymore - at least I can't find them)?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike, yes i believe they are interchangeable. I believe the only difference between the ones sold now and the ones prior is that the new ones have a higher torque.
The sevros and gearboxes could be found here Losmandy

How much more powerful are the new motors than the Maxxon motors Losmandy used to sell?
Thanks.

Mike,
I haven't seen the new motors yet, but I believe the motor body is longer than the old Maxxons. You'll need to redo your limits to accommodate them.

The new motors are 7/16 longer and a little louder then the old. I ordered one in mid December, installed it but haven't had the mount outside to use it yet.

The original ones, I've never seen a maxxon.
