Decent seeing and a new eyepiece so I did a sketch of Jupiter last night. Still new at the sketching thing but it's definitely getting me to see a few little details that I might not have seen otherwise.

Nice sketch! Must have been pretty decent seeing as I rarely get to see that kind of detail at that magnification in my similar scope here in NC.

Jupiter is in prime viewing location now, so after this bad weather we are having, planning on spending a lot of time on it this month:)

Great sketch of Jupiter. I see some dark streaks in the SEB and NEB accompanied by some light ovals. Also the NTB going across the entire face whereas the STB going about half way across.
