Many of you know of the criminals and scammers attempting to sell a phoney AP Superplanetary that was sold to me by Gary Hand of Hands-on-Optics.

Well here's the real thing.

Dude! Anyone with a telescope like that one need not worry that anybody is looking at him. :roflmao:

Well ok, maybe jealous like perhaps.

Wonderful telescope for sure. You will enjoy that for many years to come, and it will make quite an impression on others as well. There is nothing like a fine, large, tube long focus refractor- the quintessential telescope IMHO.

Reminds me of an old astronomer's bumper sticker, which had a drawing of a telescope and the words, "SIZE MATTERS!"

I am sorry to say that it does not live up to expectations. Star tests have revealed in focus aberrations.

I need to get it bench tested in a month or so..Ronchi first and then Interferometry. I hope it will pass and it's just old oil.

Wow! Nice scope.

Looking at the scam ad was tough. $2000. I wanted to bid even knowing it was a scam.
