Last night I fought the wind and Moon and was able to get these two shots. Not as long on each as I wanted but I lost a lot of time on Pack Man because the focus shifted as the scope cooled and I did not catch it.

So the Horse Head was 1 hour of 5 minutes subs on a AT12IN with a Ha 12nm filter. Camera was a Canon T2i. Controlled by BYEOS and stacked in DSS. Cleaned up in Photoshop. Could only get an hour since the trees blocked most if it.

The next shot is of the Rosette with the same setup as above. One hour of 5 minute subs.

Winds took a lot out of the stars but I have to work with what I have.

You're capturing some very nice quality Ha, Dwight. Any plans to combine these with RGB?

Thanks everyone. It is not possible to get any RGB from my location in the city. My evenings are taken by school or work so I cant get to a dark site. So I have to resign myself to Ha for now.
