I am looking for a source for tube extensions for my Zeiss Telementor. I have an 80mm that came with the telescope but am looking for shorter ones to facilitate connecting eyepiece turret, 1 1/4 eyepiece adapter with a diagonal, etc. Anyone know where I can obtain these. I look on the boards and APM for used Zeiss components but I would be interested in a source for newly made products also. Suggestions?

Alpine Astro carries a line of Baader adapters for Zeiss.

Can you just buy a new scope for the price of the adapters for a Zeiss? :lol:If all else fails contact crawmachine and have one made.

Thanks Mike ... I was aware of Baader options. I should have mentioned it. Just looking for some alternates if available. Appreciate your response.

Hi Bob

I have both an old Zeiss Telementor, first version, and a late Zeiss Telemator, 1989 version. I don't need any extension tubes on any of them when I use the Zeiss turret or 1.25" eyepiece adapter and 1.25" diagonal.

Thomas,

I am using an Amici turret. What is your setup like?

Hi Bob,

We reciently acquired a Telementor 2, also with the amici turret. I was looking at Baader adapters to come up with a combination to use with the Baader 1.25" Quicklock eyepiece holder, but haven't quite figured it out yet ?

Hi Mike

You just need the Baader M44/T2 adapter 150 8005 #13 to be able to put the Quicklock on the Zeiss turret.

Hi Thomas,

I wasn't sure which adapters had the correct male to female, or female to male thread requirements.

Thank you very much!

I think I am going to try to find a 40mm Zeiss extension for the Telementor before I go the Baader route to see if that does the job. How tough is that going to be to find? Any ideas?

Thomas ... any chance to get a picture of your setup with the Amici on the Telementor 1? I still am having trouble with the focus on mine.

Hi Bob,

I have a spare Zeiss 60mm, 80mm and a 30mm extension tube for Telementor. Please let me know if you are interested.
