Hi.

Very cold morning. First look at the thermometer, -30º C. When I was out, it was much warmer at -27º C ahahaha. But I was comfortable, don't worry. I stayed for 1:15h. Seeing was extremely poor. It was ranging according to my conditions estimation from 1 to 3 on 5 but most of the time closer to 1...

Thanks Tom.

Because of all of you guys who like my full disk sketches, I'm now addicted to the full disk myself and I like them more than the closeup !!! That's your fault.

Andre,

Excellent sketching.
I still can't believe you can sketch with temperatures so cold. I shiver thinking about it.

Yeah Andre, go and blame us for your obsession.

I can't help but show your sketches to my kids and brag that they aren't photos.

This one has a tremendous amount of activity at the edge of the lower disk. It's a little scary to think of how monstrous those proms are compared to the diminutive earth.

Thanks Frank.

What is fun with my numerous sketches done during the high activity period will be to compare them with the next one in 11 years. That will make a good reference of both periods. And according to my actual age, I would be able to catch another one 11 years later before I get too old.

Absolutely beautiful, as always. I really like the circular flare on the top right!

Cheers,

Peter

Thanks Jason and Peter.

Jason. For sure. I blame you. Because of my admirators like you, I have to go outside and freeze my bones to sketch something to make you happy... ahahaha.

It's fun your story with your kids.

That's a great ball of fire André! Lots of details and again, who needs photo with a guy like you around! Braving the cold weather and risking freezing to death just for the pleasure of your fans!

At -30°C I must confess, I would not have your courage...

Thanks Jean and Michel.

It's because I love my fans... I can sacrifice myself for you all.... ahahahaha. No sun today. Weather model is false. That was supposed to be clear on this january 24th.

Andre.
