Hi,

During December I had a few days of vacation (I managed to aim it at the moonless nights ;))
I imaged for 3 nights 13,16-17 from a Southern region in Israel called the NEGEV desert (where the nights are clear and mostly dry in December)
The outcome of this heavenly vacation were about 15 objects.
2 of them I already posted here - The Horsehead and Comet K5.
Another 10 of them I'm proud to present here.
I Tried to frame several interesting objects in the same frame such as:

NGC 663, 654 LDN 1332-1334 - 1337 and VDB

NGC 6946 & NGC 6939
http://www.pbase.com...image/148456374

Messier 101 and NGC 5474
http://www.pbase.com...image/148456369

Messier 35 & NGC 2158
http://www.pbase.com...image/148456367

Messier 81 & 82

And some interesting Nebulae:

LDN 1608 -9-10 in Monoceros

The Northern Trifid - NGC 1579
http://www.pbase.com...image/148456372

NGC 6914 in Cygnus
http://www.pbase.com...image/148456373

Very hard and rarely imaged Sharpless 278

VDB 9 in Cassiopea

As always comments are welcomed

Wow, 15 in 3 nights? That's impressive, especially because each one is a quality image too!

Yes, first off, a congratulations that a pre-planned vacation and good weather coincided!! That doesn't happen often!

Some great images too... I'm still looking through them.

Save some photons for the rest of us :)

Lucky you! I couldn't take a single image during my xmas holidays because of the nasty weather!

All of your images are beautiful! Congrats!

Cheers,

Jose

VDB 9 in Cassiopea

vdB 9 is my favorite of the group. Great job on both the dust and the rich blue of the reflection nebulae in the frame. Here's hoping my own upcoming is half as productive.

Yes, very impressive.

These LDN objects in Monoceros - which one corresponds to dusty stuff? Looks worthy of close up imaging. Thanks for sharing!
