It's our national day over here and a good opportunity to get out into the sun this morning. There is a nice hedgerow prom today, and a couple of other little ones about, but the disk is pretty quiet.

Tried a couple of shots with the 3X barlow today now I have the newtons rings under control and I think this is the best focal length for days with good seeing (2700 mm).

Thanks all. Yes Bob I have permanently relocated (for the moment anyway). Cursing the wind here though. Perth is the third windiest city in the world I have been told. Not sure if that is true, but there is certainly lots of wind, particularly in the morning and afternoon, just when you want to be imaging. Plenty of sun at least...

David.

What I really like with your photos is the sharpness of the proms. They are crisp and clear like I see them in my scope when I have good conditions.

Andre
