with the Q1 rating and 99.4 strehl and 1/80 rms
this should have some great planetary and double star views.
lots of backfocus and a crawford style 2 speed focuser.

forgot to mention i bought this from Markus at APM telescopes
in Germany.
thinking the viewing with this focal length and Zeiss
optics should match or beat any telescope in this aperture.

well for now i will use my AP 800 mount.
i plan on building a nice Berry alt az wood tripod or have someone make one as i will have to wait for spring to work outside if i make my own.

Nice scope Brian you have a mount in mind for this scope ?

that should provide some great views of the planets. Which is what most of us can only see in our light polluted cities.

for my focal length anyway.
