I just posted my first image http://www.cloudynig...5655364/page... the Tarantula Nebula in narrowband on 1 Feb 2013. I noticed that living in the future in Oz can have an affect on dates, the posting is dated 31 Jan 2013 - that pesky international dateline....

I wish to submit this image for the contest. Is this the correct place to post this image? I'm still not sure after reading the contest rules where I submit the image.


Vixen R200SS with comma corrector (f4 8 inch newt) – stock focuser
Astro-Physics AP900 mount.
SBIG ST-8300 mono running at -15C – first generation ST-8300
Baader Narrowband Filters:: SII 8nm, H-alpha 7 nm, and OIII 8.5nm

Exposure times:

SII 17 x 20 min mapped to Red
Ha 18 x 20 min mapped to Green
OIII 16 x 20 min mapped to Blue

Hi Terry, this should go in the CCD forum when the next submissions thread comes out (which is around the 15th of the month.) Unfortunately, you didn't make the poll for January, but you certainly can make February's!
