Crab Nebula ,12 inch f4 with ASA reducer

Afew members were skeptical when i ordered the 12 inch Newtonian weighing 40 pounds without mounting rings and the heavy Losmandy type dovetail.Astrophysics mount handled this like a toy when i fixed the original dovetail and RMS while guiding was showing 0.25.i have not yet fixed the dent on the tube which is preventing the ring holding the tube adequately causing some tube flexion which will reduce the RMS further
I wanted to shoot Crab nebula as it is not an easy target, the first test shot i took 20 minutes to get all saturated stars, so i shifted to 10 minutes x19 .
here is the image and thanks for looking

Excellent job on the image. I have looked at this scope as an option for my AP900, but I have to admit I would have been skeptical about putting it on a Mach 1. Looking forward to seeing more images from this combination.

Its very impressive that the mach1 was able to carry a 12" newtonian!
