I know this is a minor point, but the page numbers, "next chart" numbers, and grid lines in the first edition were red, hence invisible using a red LED flashlight.
The reprint changed these to another color so they do show up in red light.
Yes, I suppose I could use another color of light because I don't really have much night vision when looking at the Moon, but a red flashlight is the only color I pack in my astronomy gear, so it is what I have in the field.
Since I inked in black page numbers and chart directions, I never felt the need to change to the later edition, but those of you looking for used copies should be aware of that if it matters.
Those who want a nice computer atlas, I recommend VirtualMoon 6.0. It's a free download and quite impressive.
