Pier Mounting - is this strong enough?

Looking for opinions here, to put my mind at ease or to motivate a change. I'm going to mount about 160 lbs of GEM and scope on a pier and I've got 3 bolts holding the adapter plate in place. Also notice it looks off center but the front of the adapter plate is practically even with the edge of the hex shaped pier top.

What do you think? Is this strong enough? I'm using high strength socket head cap screws with lock washers and lock nuts.

Looks plenty strong to me. don't loose sight of the fact the mount will be balanced and all the weight will be straight down on the pier.
