Hi.

Another beautiful clear day but seeing was very terrible. On the morning I spent 1:15h in my dome at -23º C. In the afternoon, I returned to capture the faint prom.

Andre.

I got a glimpse of the sun today but between clouds and work I haven't had a moment to shoot any images! You caught that nice feathery prom nicely, if I had had some time I wanted to do a time lapse of that one! Maybe on Saturday I can get a little imaging in!!

Thanks my freinds.

The close up have been done 5 hours later than the full disk, it's why it is different shape. I really like the close up, beautiful proms.

I wish you more time to image Warren.

Andre,

this and all your Ha sketches are very nice!..

May I ask you about the technique? Do you really draw every feature of chromospheric network manually? I can not believe it. Should be an initial pattern to sketch on...

Todat 8th, no sketch, there is a heavy snow falling.

Once again Michel, I too love this one. I like prom with that kind of special shape.

Thanks for looking.

Terrific sketches, André. You are able to capture subtleties in prom brightness. This is amazing and requires outstanding observation and art skills.
