Dave - every time I prepare specimens, I think about how close geology is to planetary science and astronomy. :)

Did this last close flyby change its orbital parameters much?

It certainly did, I believe there's a higher probably for impact by the year 2087 but I don't know if observatories can easily track this little 45 m object...
