It was a nice looking sun in a brilliant blue sky today. The seeing was lousy and a stiff wind, so I barely poked my PST out the garage and I sat well inside the garage. Not good for seeing, but it had me in the shade and out of the wind.

Here is a full disk and the inversion (uncolored). I have more data to get through. There were some really nice prominences, including a nice arch.

Here is a closeup of some of the prominences on the limb. THis was shot with the PST and a 1.8x Barlow.

Thanks all. Yes, I felt very lucky. I didn't have much time but am glad I went home for lunch. :)

I got an animation out of this that I've put in another thread (probably should have put here).

Thanks, Jim. I wish. I made my pilgrimmage to Natural Bridges and burned a lot of capital with wife, employers, students, etc. so I'm probably stuck in the east for the summer. I suppose I could fly with the PST and then just beg views from people with Teeters. ;)

I mean, are you going?
