I am writing a 2nd edition to my first book "Building a Roll-Off Roof Observatory: A Complete Guide for Design and Construction", Springer New York, N.Y. 2009. This 2nd edition will feature the construction of Dome Observatories
from Commercial through self-built. In a section on converting Farm Silo Domes to Astronomical Domes I need a few photos of converted Silo Domes. These are hard to find since its not an easy job to slice through the silo dome to create a slot door section (they usually fall apart). I know there are some out there converted by crafty individuals. If you would like your observatory in the new book please submit a few images to me. I will give you acknowledgement under Acknowledgements and credit under the photo. I'm surprised that in your Observatory books list
you have not included mine - it was popular all through the USA and Europe, sold exceedingly well.

Alan:

Thank you for your reply. Could you send me an image or two of the completed silo dome? I will acknowledge your
photo(s) in the book. Thanks, John

Alan:

I do not have a web site so I will have to give you my e-mail address. Is it safe to do so on Cloudy Nights - can we go through the moderator for security. Would that be possible?
