Well I don't do many galaxies but you have to keep practicing and keep getting better so I ventured outside my comfort zone and went after some dark background galaxy stuff. I have been shooting this for a bit in the early morn and grabbed enough to give it a run. I had to crop a bit because of some red gradients but I like the way it turned out. I just processed it as a color image, no synthetic LUM. I hope you all enjoy!! Comments and CRITICS always welcome.

Thanks for looking,

Jimmy

Nicely done Jimmy. Look at those tight stars! You can see several hitchhiker galaxies in the background. Well done.

Thanks everyone!! I am blessed to be able to shoot at NMSkies. I'm glad I found out about it. If it wasn't for them I would never get to image.

Awesome work, as usual! The tidal tail on NGC3628 is showing pretty well, along with some beautiful color in galaxies.

Very nice color and control over the stars. Good details considering the wide field focal length!

Thanks again everyone!! It was difficult not to take up the background so much. I'm pretty prone to maxing out an image so this was hard for me to keep the background to a minimum.
