What a difference better/good seeing makes!

Today, seeing was supposedly 4/5 (Meteoblue scale), but transparency was very poor (had to crank up the exposure to 36ms for Jupiter when I can usually get away with 22ms)... :bawling:but this is my best (and third only) shot of the planet this season.

Taken with my 6" AP at about f/24 (native f/7.5) using FireCapture and processed this time in AS2!

I have several shots to process but this is the smallest frame I took and the easiest to process before going to bed... :smirk:

Thank you Sam for such a great performing little camera!

Roberto

Thank you Jeff, Michal and David. I have 5 or so more videos to process and may have another go at the above by keeping more frames (only 30% in this one) and tweaking the wavelets.

"Problem" is it's clear again tonight and there's Champions League football on TV... not enough time to image!

Cheers

Thank you All for your nice comments! It's been cloudy ever since last session and I have not been able to try out the new fast fps driver :bawling: I'm sure results for my seeing conditions will be soooo goood! :D
