Has anyone used a mallincam as a guide camera? I would like to setup 2 or 3 scopes on one mount, all with mallincams, using one to guide with. All 3 would have different FL for differing FOV. I could switch which camera to guide with without swapping cameras and do everything from a remote setup.

Anyone have good luck guiding with one? What software did you use?

Thanks

You could use metaguide and your frame grabber.. Not sure how well it would work, but it should work... People use webcams and video cameras with great success and metaguide.

I'm doing everything you want to do without any problems. Guiding with MaximDL. I had four video cameras on the mount and was able to switch to any of them at any time.
