You dont need a modded cam to shoot stuff. :D

Yes - but if what lured me into this hobby was deep sky nebula, I'll need a modded camera to bring out more of the reds - correct?

who is doing the mod on the T3i and how much? I have one but like using it for regular photos too, how will that change regular photos?
