In springtime I plan to setup my CPC outside on a wedge and covered with a Telegizmo cover. There seem to be some CPC owners who have gotten grease on the corrector or on the primary with the scope either pointing down or to zenith. Hence, my thinking is to keep the scope at home position pointing toward Polaris or in any regard aimed at 45 degree angle or tthereabouts... Is this a good plan? If so what size Telegizmo cover do I need? Not one for a fork mounted, but maybe one for a GEM instead? Given that the telescope will be more horizontal than vertical?

I have CPC9.25 but bought telegizmos for 12-14" SCT fork mount, and there's enough room to keep OTA tilted, but I'm not sure about CPC1100, especially with the piggyback. Telegizgmos website lists customer service 972-849-9240, 9AM-4PM CST. Hopefully, they would be able to advise.
