I noticed the celestron Edge HD t-adapter can be unscrewed into two halves. Can their 2" filters be added inline between the two halves?

I don't think so. You'd need filters in a t-threaded mount. It's a different thread than 2" filters.

Thanks Mike. You've been quick to respond to my posts before :)

The only reason I am still unsure is that I own the Celestron 1.25 t-adapter which comes unscrewed as well. That one does allow me to thread a filter inline with the t-adapter. I was unsuccessful getting an answer from the manufacture, hence my post...

Anyone out there own this t-adapter and can confirm?

Well the only reason I said 'I don't think so' was because it's hard to tell from a picture exactly what you're looking at. But if the middle threads are the same thread as the end that mates with the camera t-ring I can say with certainty they are not 2" filter threads.

1.25 adapters and 1.25 filters do use the same thread. T-adapter threads are 42mm diameter and 2" filter threads are 48mm.
