I literally just did my first 60 second sub and its perfect... I could only do about 10 seconds before the mod...

Ball bearing mod FTW!!!

How long did It take for the tracking to worsen to 10 seconds? Was it a few months or years of use wedge mounted? When you first started was the tracking close to what you have now post the bearing mod? Just wondering as I about to start wedge imaging for first time with the CPC

Never used a wedge. I was the second owner, scope is 1.5 years old. Never could get over 10-15 seconds, and it was worse when cold. Motion was very jerky when cold..
