Does this suggest the introduction of more new higher end mounts like a CGEM VX or PRO VX ?

Does celestron introduce new products at NEAF or just 1x per year at CES?

Al

OK, Al - reveal your source!
Here it is, just a few hours after your post, and I just received an email from Celestron announcing a 10% off sale on their larger EQ mounts. Here's a link to the sale on their site. Please notice the caveat, "Certain Restrictions Apply." The sale is through March 31.

Dangit, too soon in the year for me! I'll be looking at getting a new scope to go with my new job, but I won't be ready to buy until around June/July. Bummer.

Sale or no sale I'd be waiting for a new product to mature a bit from most any company ESPECIALLY Celestron.

They did launch a bunch of products at CES. I'd be surprised if the introduced more at NEAF.

Then again, NEAF may be the first time anyone actually see the new items. OAG, Edge HD 800 FR, etc...

Celestron offered the same discount on the CGE PRO last summer and I got one from OPT. I am glad I got mine at the discounted price and with free shipping.

Celestron seems to have a sale every spring. As for new items I am excited to see there new Off axis guider. It looks like it might be an interesting product.
