We train the teachers to take advantage of morning observing periods in the Philippines because the air is usually stable. That was the plan but heavy clouds were moving in. The moon disappeared for good, but the sunrise went through a quick transition when it "played" with the clouds. So, that's what I had to work with. Tomorrow am...maybe the moon. Sorry for not saying thankyou. It's been a bit busy at the school with classes and observing. Have a brief lesson today that is typical for daytime, where we teach the basics for stars/magnitudes and lunar craters...so when they observe at night they are ready to record. Thanks.
