Steve, you know you are welcome to mine at $2000 ish

Oh wait, I meant $12. The new paradigm. Keep the price low so a few CNer's can participate.

Ide give ya $15 for it.. :smirk:

I wonder if "leonard" and "lenny" are the same person? Still no picture of the objective. And zero bids at his starting bid.

Yup, same Leonard, same Sears scope, (at least same pictures). It's been removed from the CN classifieds where it was listed for 1200 and listed at the same price on eBay!? Go figure? Guess he'd rather give some of the 1200 to eBay than keep it all? Weird that he wouldn't sell it to a member on here who made a solid offer for 1500? Many questions???

I sure don't think that at 1200 he was being ripped off. Wasn't there one on amart auction last year that went for around 600?

You know you could be right. That does look like a Brandon. Wonder if the guy has any clue how closely it resembles a 5" Brandon APO. If he knew he would put in on Ebay as such :rofl5: :rofl5:

I think I'll make no comment and just use my 20TE on Jupiter again tonight while the Istar is cooling down. :p Mike

Looks like Eikow and very similar mount to my "ToHo" (Ekiow) reflector.Very good build quality.

Scott, I'll join the club. You have a real gem there. I saw a more complete thread of yours earlier of the scope and became enamored then. Such a cool design.

Thanks Starman876 and Joe, it really is a unique design. Here is another unique feature and the basis for the compact design: a 4.5" f/10.5 "Reflector" in wood case.

Here's the link to the original thread on this scope if your interested.
