A beautiful day today with steady skies enabled the following sketches. The sun is pretty quiet in white light just now but shows some interesting proms in H-a with one fila-prom seen with the little PST on the SE limb.
For anyone interested, I tried my new 4 mm UO Abbe Orthoscopic eyepiece in the PST. It produced an image just a bit too soft at 100x(!) to be useful. Some days I'm able to use a 6 mm Ortho. That may be my practical limit.
