You can't imagine how much clouds we have here. We are missing Pannstarrs for now. No possiblity before next sunday. We had a clear day after 2 and a half weeks and now it's overcast again for the next 7 days. Incredible.

Hi André, a so bad weather ! That's not good for our hobby...
Anyway, if here in Provence the sky is more acceptable, I don't see, nor sketch, the hidden comet. The full story is here in a small animation :

I receive, from the local autorities a special permit to go on a forbiden area, high enough to have a nice west horizon. Helas, no success yet.

I Like your style of solar presentation - a lot like my own but you do the surface texture very nicely. I have not found a way to do it to my satisfaction.
