Here are a few screen shots from the Stacy-Kite-Cam.
Sure wish I could have hooked it to that cool glider!

Nice kite-kam shots! We'll use the glider next year, or maybe this August??? I'll be sure to bring the glider.

That would be great Doug...though I won't be there in Aug. shooting for Sept.

OK I'm done looking at this one. the color came from the lagoon I shot at Pixieland on Friday night, and the Luminance(Hydrogen Alpha) came from Winthrop.

Great Lagoon Robert.

Nice to see all the fun you all had. One more week to go and then I can settle down to get some imaging done.

I'll be heading over to Goldendale to attend the TAS star party next new moon. I believe it will be at one of the member's property. He bought the plot last year after he was at Pixieland last year.

Looks like they might miss the new moon: "The TAS members Goldendale Star Party for 2013 will be on July 11th through the 14th."

The new moon is on the 8th.

I'm planning to be up at Table on the preceding weekend.

Steve talked me into it. I leased a Nissan Leaf Thursday. Just went over 100 mi. There's a fair amount of new stuff to learn, since I've not only never had an electric car but never had one with a navigation system, either. I'm maybe 1/2 way through the 2"+ of manuals. But so far I've found nothing I don't like. My previous experience with Nissans (my wife's Altima, gone now for 7 or 8 years) wasn't the best but I'm relieved to report that the new one seems very well constructed.

Robert and Doug, you are master Lagoonistas!

Sleepy, of course you fell asleep!

Nissan Leaf, eh? Sounds cool. Did you have to have a special charging station installed at home?

Hi, Tom,

No special charging station . . . I can't justify the expenditure in the high $100s. I can charge it overnight using 110 v. household current. My electrician will be over to install a 220 v. outlet for me soon.

Are you coming to the Luau? When? I'll be going over Friday afternoon & setting up. I'll pick up a keg on the way. Tom H. went over Saturday & put up his awning & tent.

Anyone else want to check it out Saturday? PM me for info & directions.

Wow Mike - that was quick! I see you're having a 220 outlet installed. Are you doing the EVSE upgrade? This is by far the lowest cost solution for L2 charging (220v). Don't worry about the fact that you're modifying a piece of leased equipment. If Nissan won't take the cable back, EVSE Upgrade will exchange it for a non-modified cable, or someone will gladly trade you for their brand new cable.

Get online and sign up with:
Chargepoint
https://na.chargepoint.com/home
Blink
http://www.blinknetwork.com/

So far, I'm still only using the supplied L1 charging cable. Last week I never plugged in at my house - did all my charging at work until Friday, where I used an L2, 2 hours at Fred Meyer for 2$.

Oh, and here you can buy color match side protective molding for about $125 shipped:

Steve, you just saved me about $500 with the EVSE Upgrade referral. I was about to buy an $800 charging station. Thank you! I just placed my order to upgrade my cable. I send them my 110 v. cable, they wave their wand, transform it to 220 v. then send it back

I'm signed up with Chargepoint (which has several stations at the library near my house.) I should probably sign up with Blink, too.

Thanks for molding tip.

I like my car!!!!

Yep - they're fun cars! Which color did you get?

I'm getting great info from this forum:

Oh, and after your rear bumper gets scuffed up from pulling things out of the hatchback, you'll want one of these:

Fortunately, the weather was in a "typical" pattern, which meant the wind died down after dark.
