Waiting for PanStarrs, March 12th a stupid cloud patch covered the comet position. Just a few degrees further a very tiny moon was visible for a short period. I used my refractor 1000/102 with 25mm eyepiece to make the sketch finalised at home. The moon age was less than 22h very close to the horizon and… in the sun light. The moon’s magnitude was very low maybe -3 or -4.

Michel,

Beautiful watercolor capture of the very young Moon.
Sorry you didn't capture the comet above and to the south.
I think this Moon view is a bit more exciting than the comet but it also is impressive.

Jef, the yesterday evening comet is finaly coming, result, after my french café...
Peter and Jean, your too kind but my wife prefer using walls for kids pictures, I don't know why ?
