Not sure if anyone has mentioned this system in the forum yet, it's something I saw on a Spanish astronomy resellers website.

Instead of mounting a second scope piggyback or in tandem, it goes at the end of the counterweight bar. Works with any equatorial mount.
The big advantage is that you replace the counterweight with the second telescope, so you do not add any more weight to the setup, actually it REDUCES the total weight.
Great for smaller mounts, can maybe be used also for autoguiding? I was thinking of trying it on my new VX mount.

Watch out for the tripod legs when slewing!

I don't think it would be good for autoguiding. My guess is that there would be way to much flex

Yes. you're probably right about the tripod legs, might be OK on a pier...

ADM accessories also has a saddle option that mounts at the end of the counterweight shaft:

Might be useful for a short FL camera to take pictures while taking longer FL pictures from the main scope. Guiding would be problematic from the end or a flexi shaft.
