Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to pose this question or not.

Has anyone attended the Sheboygan Astronomical Society's Swap 'N Sell? Here's the link.

It's relatively close, so I'd like to check it out.

Thanks in advance for any info you might be able to provide.

I won't be there this year, either, but I have attended and it's a good time.

Be sure to wear your Bears jacket and don't miss the brat fry. The line for the brats starts to form around Thursday nite. Ask for the Bears fan special!

Herrointment,
Now why would I go and do a silly thing like that???? Not the kind of guy to go around kicking at beehives.

What could possibly go wrong with wearing a Bears jacket north of the border.... A Wisconsin judge would likely label it Civic Improvement if something happened to the wearer...

I've watched the Sheboygan Swap 'N' Sell grow each year, and it's a great event! Kind of like kicking off the "season" after the cold winter. Even if you wear a Bears jacket, you'll be welcomed warmly ;)

Tell your friends -- the more, the merrier!

Astrosetz is right, you good folks are always welcome in the Land of Cheese as long as you bring your overstuffed wallets. Money up here is pretty scarce due to our low IQ's and general absent-mindedness.

Hey, I resemble that! If it works in to the schedule, I plan on trying to go.

If Steve goes there it's got to be good. Too far for me. 15 miles is about as far as I can drive right now. Still not healed up.

Hello all! What a wonderful time at the swap yesterday. Great talks, awesome bargains, and most of all a lot of really wonderful people.

Very good presentation on the Comet ISON, and what makes a great comet by Astronomy Magazine's Michael Bakich. The SAS Vice-President, Randy Griffin, did a wonderful little trivia game called, "Where in the Universe". Unfortunately I got there too late to hear Jeff Setzer's talk on outreach, but I heard very good things about it.

There was a rather eclectic mix of products for sale/swap as one would expect at this sort of event. Probably the most interesting was a Research Optical scope similar to this.

All-in-all had a great time and looking forward to next years event.
