I got a lot of millage out of the Meade 152 ED in the film days but the LXD750 mount was not good enough for CCD. Now I have it mounted on the 850 Prototype. The badge says "800" but it has the 850 upgrades inside.

Beautiful setup Jason. The Meade ED's are great scopes. I have a 102 and love it.

Jason, I just got the 80mm 6000 Triplet APO, have you played with this scope?

I plan on piggy backing it on the 14" w/LX850.

Is that what it takes to keep the 850 cool? Wow...powerful mount. :D

No but funny story. My first camera was a Yankee Robotics
6303 and needed water cooling. In the summer I would use ice water but in the spring, fall and winter I would just dunk the pump in the pool. A 15,000 gallon CCD cooling system.
