Hi.

Found some holes in the cloud's layer today. Not for very long.

Andre.

Well done in "Cloudy Days"
Just a question, André, are you able to sketch out through a thin layer of clouds with your Lunt? With mine (35T) it´s impossible.

Michel

For sure. This scope can see through the louds and I get much more surface details when there is a thin cloud's layer because the light gathering is less intense. That act like a double stack. Very often I sketch with clouds. Only the faint proms are affected. But can't do close ups with clouds as lcontradts re extremely affected.

But you know what. I tend to prefer sketching now the surface with my little C80. Because the apperture is much smaller, surface details are much apparent especially filament and white regions. The LS152 is a more dedicated close ups scope than full disk.

:applause: Nice sketch! Thought it was a great picture, but the good contrast made me do a double-take. Nice job!
