Took the city over a year to come out and...

Well, it took the city exactly 14 months to finally come out and chop down that huge dead tree you see in the first photo below. I reported the offending tree which posed a hazard to the city via email during my obs construction.
Now I have a much better view of the Southeastern sky. Of course I probably would have never reported that tree hazard had I not built an obs in my back yard....:)))

Thanks, after a year of use the obs is holding up well, no issues. During the summer I added a Whirlybird turbine vent on the roof and a filtered intake vent at floor level. :)
