What do I need to do PHD guiding with Meade LXD75 and a laptop.
Is there a special usb-HBX cable?

Best regards

in the picture shows two cables: one coiled (that end go to the hand box),the other straight cable connect the coiled cable to a USB on your laptop (RS-232-USB serial).
After test a slew with your favorite planetarium, you will need installed on your laptop the ASCOM platform, that platform contain the necessary driver to communicate between camera, PHD and your laptop.

If the serial cable shown there isnt compatible to your operating system then I recommend using a keyspan 19HS, the best trouble free garanteed.

One other tip: Windows has a habit of changing serial (Com) ports around. Read this thread: Windows COM Port Issue
