First off, I want to say that I do realize that this may be for a different forum yet would like to ask here. Please if anyone can help,I am interested in finding out if GPS can be adapted to an LX200 10" Classic. If so,does anyone know how much it might cost or where I can find the adapter. Thank You for looking. Tim

There is an individual that sells updates for the Classic scopes and others on this board have claimed it worked very well. I don't know if GPS capability is included. I have not worked with him, but I believe his username is George D.

Good luck, I hope you find what you are looking for.

to make an addendum, the star gps can be added to georges classic upgrade! upgrade can be found here .

now all you need is a way to add on an LNT module!

Gday Theo

Gday Theo

now all you need is a way to add on an LNT module!

If you implement Georges upgrade,
then an LNT will simply plug into the Aux port ;)
BUT
why bother???
The LNT is just a gimmicky way to point north and level.
Just eyeball it and do a manual 2 star and you are away.
Sure it has a clock as well, but if you use the plugin GPS lump,
you dont need that bit anyway.
