Well I may as well continue the Australian trend here and also post my images of Saturn.

Not as good as the images posted by Paul, Darryl and Trevor, but the IR image picks up Encke's division which is always a good indicator of at least average/above average (for Melbourne) seeing.

Saturn is looks spectacular at the moment high in the sky and as it approaches Saturn is getting very deep into the Southern sky.

YOu have the detail there John just some colour management is all that is needed really. Just take a look at the red channel. Nice data though.

Oh my gosh John the IR685 is a killer! No ifs ands or buts about whether you captured Encke's albedo signature. Many congratulations!

Plenty of detail there John, as Paul said a little bit of colour adjustment would turn this into a really first-class outcome! :waytogo:

I had a bit of a play but I suspect you'd need to go back to the separate channels for another recombining and intensity adjustment, but regardless a very nice outcome indeed..! :)

That pretty impressive data John, love the IR and the RGB is also very nice. Probably splitting hairs really but possibly just a tad saturated or close to it in the EZ region.

Very nice data John  I really like the IR image, and the color just needs a bit of juggling though it looks pretty natural as is...

Clear Skies,
Brian :waytogo:
